Event description and details
How can we raise children who are deeply rooted in their faith while also prepared to thrive in the modern world?
Join Al-Mujadilah Center for Women for Raising Children with Deen and Dunya, an inspiring and practical lecture led by Hina Khan-Mukhtar. This session explores the foundations of raising confident, principled Muslim children who can navigate the demands of worldly life without losing sight of their Islamic values.
Drawing on years of conversations with families, personal observations, and Islamic guidance, Hina Khan-Mukhtar will share practical lessons on creating a faith-centered home, nurturing strong parent-child relationships, choosing positive influences and companionship, modeling Islamic character, setting healthy boundaries, and cultivating a child’s relationship with Allah.
The session will also encourage parents to rethink what success truly means—not simply academic achievement or worldly accomplishments, but raising young people whose faith shapes their character, choices, relationships, ambitions, and contributions to society.
Discover how to help children succeed in the dunya while remaining firmly anchored in their Deen, understanding that worldly excellence is most meaningful when it serves a higher purpose.
