About this event

Event description and details

What makes something worth keeping? In an age of fast fashion and ever-changing trends, Longevity in Fashion: Designed to Last explores how longevity can be approached in fashion through craftsmanship, cultural memory, and the stories behind the clothes we wear.

Presented by Artsi Ifrah of Maison ARTC through an exhibition of one-of-a-kind looks, photography, and live craft, the showcase reveals how creativity lives beyond seasonal trends, highlighting not only how pieces are made but also the meaning they carry.

The Experience

Designer Showcase | 28 October – 5 November | Atrium
Thirteen one-of-a-kind looks created and styled by Artsi Ifrah will be displayed in the atrium, offering visitors an opportunity to explore the narrative behind each piece.

Live Activation: The Cutting Studio | 28–29 October | 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Atrium
Discover the artistic practice of drawing from Artsi Ifrah’s work through live tailoring demonstrations, garment construction, and draping, showcasing craftsmanship and the creative process.

Cultural Embroidery – Walk-in
Explore embroidery as a medium for expressing identity, memory, and personal stories. Visitors can engage in conversations with embroiderers and discover how traditional craftsmanship preserves meaning and connects individual stories.

Live Draping | 31 October and 1 November | 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Sada
Led by designer Nuha Erryes, this live exploration of fabric behaviour, form, and silhouette demonstrates how ideas develop directly on the mannequin. Registration is required, with 10 seats per session.
