Fanoon Artist Talks with Shuddhabrata Sengupta of The Raqs Media Collective

Fanoon is a public lecture series and university seminar that brings internationally renowned artists together to explore research-driven artistic practices, with a particular focus on architecture and infrastructure.

This session features Shuddhabrata Sengupta of The Raqs Media Collective, offering audiences an opportunity to engage with contemporary artistic ideas and approaches. The programme connects Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art with the Painting and Printmaking programme in the Department of Fine Arts at VCUarts Qatar, creating a space for dialogue between museums, universities, artists, and students.

The series aims to encourage sustained conversations about contemporary art and explore new possibilities for arts education. Public lectures are open to everyone, while the accompanying seminar, led by writer and curator Tirdad Zolghadr, is open to students across Doha.
