EMPOWER 2026: Youth Leading for Peace and Security

EMPOWER 2026 is a youth-focused conference hosted by Education Above All (EAA) Foundation in partnership with Qatar’s Ministry of Sports and Youth, bringing together young leaders, policymakers, UN agencies, civil society representatives, and academic experts to explore how youth can contribute to peace, security, and positive social change.

Under the theme “Youth Leading for Peace and Security,” the conference recognises young people as essential partners in decision-making, conflict prevention, and peacebuilding. Through experiential learning, networking, youth-led engagement, and interactive discussions, participants will explore ways to strengthen youth leadership and create meaningful change in their communities and beyond.

The event will bring together approximately 250 young leaders in Qatar, alongside policymakers and experts, for a high-level opening ceremony, interactive workshops, inspiring speeches, and panel discussions focused on youth, peace, and security. A dedicated Youth Exhibition will also showcase youth-led community projects, campaigns, and initiatives from partner organisations.

Delegates will have the opportunity to contribute to the EMPOWER 2026 Youth Declaration, a Call to Action outlining key recommendations on youth, peace, and security. These recommendations will be presented at the regional Arab Youth Forum for Peace and Security in Doha.
